As great as barbecues are the end result can be a huge amount of non recyclable plastic. We can't help with all the food packaging but we can at least provide some extra cutlery and crockery if you have more guests than your kitchen contents can cover. Also a plastic and chemical free alternative to get the barbecue going.
We would obviously endorse using washable items where you can but if you are thinking about buying some paper plates and plastic cutlery then we can help out. A lot of the paper plates have a plastic coating and therefore will not be recycled by your local council.
This range is made from dry fibrous wheat residue and are unbleached. Not only are they fully compostable they are much thicker than paper and will not easily fold when you are trying to hold with one hand. They can also withstand hot and oily foods.
Although these are made of wheat plants they come from the stalks which does not contain protein, gluten or allergens so safe for all.
