A designer has created his own house for just £15,000 - out of recycled fast food food wrappers and plastic bottles. Bin designer Angus Carnie, 35, used his contacts in waste management to collect tonnes of rubbish and turn them into building materials. For £15,000 he managed to build a two-bedroom detached house in just seven months. The house features faux wooden logs made from compressed plastic and breeze blocks made from discarded hospital bedding.
